Hey guys- First I wanna say that it was a total blast being out and shooting with the sexy talent on Desert Edge. Seriously, it was the most fun I have had balling in years and years.

Couple shout outs- even though DE 5-Man lost both games, everyone played awesome. Major props to Jackson, Mark (Malo), Mason and especially Marty (who moves like a pro with only 6 months of paintball under his belt). But the highlight of the day goes to Dave who, when his gun stopped working and was the last person defending the base flag, completely tackled a guy down to the mud and shouted "Surrender!!"- I have been playing paintball for 8 years and I have never seen anything like that in my life.

Also, I heard about the deaths that took place Sunday morning (http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=6892743). I left Saturday night and was not there for the event but my heart goes out to the family, friends, and the team of the two that passed away.

Chad

I still haven't been able to figure out how I feel about the entire weekend but I thouroughly enjoyed playing with the 5 man team. We learned alot and had a few bumps but I loved every minute of it. Mark, Marty and Mason, aka the three musketteers, it was great running with you all. You all have improved so much since we started playing with you guys. Mark, hopefully you still like me. In the heat of things I get a little loud and blunt. Jackson, you are always ready and so cool and calm. Thanks again for stepping up and just filling in where needed. And Chad, it was great to meet you. You need to come out more. Running with you was such a blast. Hopefully we will get the chance to run swing together soon.

Roger, thanks for your kind words. Give a big thanks to you and your team. Its an honor to know you guys.

I can set up a professional de-briefing if anyone is haveing a hard time dealing with what happened at SPPL. I would need to know soon, it would be a group type meeting most likely in Provo. (no cost) Let me know if anyone needs to talk or help.
